Hi

I want to offer outsourcing services to various industries like finance, data processing, SEO, web development etc.

Will you please help me choose the domain name from -

1. OutsourcingProfessionals.com

2. OutsourcingAdvantage.com

Any specific reason you chose the one you chose?

Thanks in advance for sparing a minute.

Arun

Problem I see with the name is "outsourcing" what? I prefer a name that says exactly what you do. Just like your other domain name seotop10.com It tells a story in the name. Just a thought.

Hi Alan

I plan to take up outsourcing contracts for several fields like I mentioned. So I don't want to go for outsourcing-finance.com and like.

Here is another related question -

Should I go for finance.outsourcingxxxxxxx.com or www.outsourcingxxxxx.com/finance?

There are SEO implications but what about other general perception?

I agree with Alan. So what's the big deal about using more than one domain? They're cheap. I use NameCheap.com at $8.88/year.

And you're going to get a LOT more business by having several domains, each one targeted to one specific niche rather than having an umbrella site covering them all. It allows you to target the specific benefits of the service. Much better, copy wise. Also should be better SEO wise too.

Hi Arun,

I would go for the www.outsourcingxxxx.com/finance type,

because I think it is more intuitive for the user. (just my humble opinion, can't say why...)

I'd also advise you NOT to use the "www." in front of your domain name. There are several reasons not to do this, one is that the domain name will become 4 characters shorter ...

...but of course the user who requests the site WITH "www." has to be redirected to your site.

On my site

http://www.remarkabletemplates.com (with "www.")

you can see that working. You will automatically be redirected to

http://remarkabletemplates.com (without "www.")

I once read an article about this (with five more reasons why you should'nt use the "www.")
which you can find here:

http://webword.com/moving/wwwremoval.html

(I think the article is well worth the time)

I hope that helps you,

Gabriel
