Just delivered some copy.

What a relief! It's 2:55 in the am here. I gotta be up in 4 hours. What a glamorous life

Don't forget, you're living the dream

It's 10pm here. Still working on a draft to present tomorrow. This pot of coffee says I'll be up most of the night as well.

Still, I wouldn't trade this for a 9-5 job ever.

Hey, that's why we get to charge the bucks my friend.

It's what makes the types of comments from non-copywriters so funny. "Oh, I wrote my sales letter in 2 hours... How bad could it be?"

I'm working on the sales letter for a new project of mine and I have twenty-five hours already in and I haven't even finished the rough draft yet. SIGH.

Get some rest and have a beer to celebrate finishing your client's project.

Mike

Yeah, I'm trudging through a project now and I've completely lost count of the number of hours I've put into it. Enough to start getting sick of the topic, though.

I've paced myself pretty good on this one, so hopefully there won't be any post-midnight coffee-crunches. Then again, that's where half the fun is.

Oh the joy of freelancing. I wouldn't change this for anything, either.

25 hours to write a sales letter?

Never.

Don't you mean 2.5 hours?

Peace.

It's always nice to know I'm not the only one who gets 'zombied' from late night crunches and early morning head-starts.

2.5 hours to write a sales letter by following your system, versus
the potential to earn six-figures a year writing copy after actually
being taught how to do so - by AWAI?

Hmmm?

Tough one there...even for Judge Judy.

So, let's go to a tie-breaker.

AWAI's supplemental courses for travel, financial, the internet,
and catalogue....versus, mystic yogi finger exercises that will
bring you wealth, health, fame and fortune....secrets of mental golf
that will add yards and accuracy to your drives, eliminate hooks and
slices, and put you game on autopilot in just two hours....to cheating
little leaguers out of their lunch money by selling them the secrets to
hitting 734 foot home runs just like Mickey Mantle! (poor research there -
no one, the Mick included, ever hit one 734 feet, and that exceeds the
dimensions of Yankee Stadium fwiw).

And you have the chutzpah to rag on AWAI?

Don't even get me started on NLP...

We don't ALL swipe, Harlan. I've heard all about your "presto chango" sales letters. Can you sleep after charging $25 grand for one of those?

aaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh (that's me stretching after spending 4 minutes
to write a email).

That 4 minutes will pay the mortgage for the month of January.

I guess it's "Miller Time".

You could probably shave that down to 2 minutes if you had a Sam Adams waiting on ya.
