Yes!
It's about making money not bonding.

Anthony, thank you for your perspective. My hesitation with following your advice is this...
i'm like a C or D level guru in this field, right? I mean I've spoken on Harv's Stage, twice if you count The Elite Trainer Bootcamp. Whatever.

Here's my hesitation...
Don't i really want my copywriter to amplify my authentic voice?

In other words, if i was choosing between Copywriter A who has GREAT track record and DOESN'T GET MY HUMOR and Copywriter B who has a Good track record, or shows promise, who can replicate my sense of humor...

Everything else being equal between Copywriter A and Copywriter B, I'd go with B.

In the case of Untitled Document I had Million-Dollar-Mike. That appears to me as a win!

* bows with humble gratitude *

Thank you for your
perspective.

WHAT AM I MISSING?

Warmly,

~ Ben

Ben, a good copywriter should be able to write in your voice.

You'll need to give them enough samples and they can be you.

Or as Jay Abraham would say,

They will astonish you, they will amaze you, and they will simply blow you away with their results.

p.s. you agree that Million-Dollar-Mike did all that at Untitled Document , right?

i see Mike's work that way, as you described. Michael Morgan took my voice and made me more handsome. Mike Morgan astonished me, amazed me, and he simply blew me away with his results. He built me my alternative list of Sinners & 23rdians at the above site.

p.p.s.
Dr. K., you know that Michael Morgan
is Binky Bear, ok. Shhhh. It's a secret.

Humor isn't much of a factor in copy. It's extremely difficult to throw out jokes in copy and not offend or lose readers. You're trying to sell a product, not tell jokes in your copy.

Go with the copywriter who can write in your voice. If they need humor material from you on a topic, then they will ask you for it.

My 2 cents,

Mike
