Default Alexa top 1000 - Why does this site make millions? - 08-31-2007, 05:08 PM

Many of you may remember the study we all did together with Fat Loss 4 Idiots ebook. Thanks a ton people I learned a lot from that study.

Now here is a another study I want to do together with YOU AWESOME people. Can someone tell me why this site has 30,000 paying members for $299 a YEAR.

SiteSell.com, E-business Success. Simple. Real.

Don't tell me it's the headline because there is no headline (maybe that's why)

Okay I begin:

Lots of social proof and stories
Lots of links(information overload?)

They begin with the claim and then introduction. Then it goes on and on.

Why not just a regular sales letter?

Is this what affiliates really wants to promote, a blog full of social proof?

And they make Millions!!

Peace
Peace

very basic and quick observation:
  • video
  • real life people on video (aside from company spokesman)
  • dispel objections (e.g., even total newbies can use this)
  • positioning themselves as different from the usual get-rich-quick message (i.e. aligning themselves with fed up consumers)
  • ditto what you said: links that prove their point

everyone should get on their "5 pillar affiliate program" list and register interest and so forth. Their stuff is AMAZING marketingwise.

Thanks, I'm taking some notes here.

I mean it's not the cheapest thing either, $299 but I guess this is like you said good for newbies just starting out and lots of value = superior product = higher price

Humm.. anyone else??

Thanks!

Ken Evoy is a brilliant marketer, that's the main reason.

The copy is good.

He makes it really easy for newbies to get started.

The "Affiliate Masters" ebook that pre-sells sitesell is awesome - it's 165 pages of solid content on how to become a high-earning affiliate. You read it and there is no doubt in your mind sitesell is the way to make money online.

Also sitesell has been around for years.

I'm guessing Ken also pulls a fair amount of customers online through the offline world.

Long before Ken Evoy launched Site Build It, he created a series of top-notch ebooks. The most popular one was one of the first ebooks on SEO called Make Your Site Sell.

If you do some digging on the sitesell.com site, you can find some of those ebooks available for free.

He also partnered with copywriter Joe Robson to write an ebook Make Your Words Sell. It's a nice ebook for learning how to write copy for beginners.

With a line of popular ebooks, Ken had his own army of affiliates which helped him launch Site Build It.
