Default is there a holy grail of copywriting? Sneak peak inside...(my introduction) - 07-24-2007, 05:34 PM

Hi, I am new on your forum.

I have been writing persuasive copy since maybe fourth grade.

I run a business where we obtain leads for professionals, currently focusing on mental health professionals and on dentists. And I do new franchise consulting, helping people who want to franchise their businesses and become successful franchisors.

And I have done some writing on the side for people. One client is a real estate guru and I am helping him put together information products he can sell at his seminars.

And I am going to test market an idea for a book to help people who want to get out from under their mortgage "Sell your House in Nine Days, even if you Owe More Than your House is Worth" or something like that.

Anyway, I am so glad to be here and hope I can make a contribution in some way.

Glad you posted Richard and didn't just "lurk" like a lot of folks...

You touched upon some interesting topics.

Let's see what you can bring to the table.

Default There IS a Holy Grail of copywriting. And it's name is... - 07-24-2007, 08:55 PM

PROFIT.

Whether for yourself or for a client. It doesn't matter squat what you've read, what you've done, what you know...what matters is:

Does what you write produce a PROFIT?

Do that and I guarantee you won't have to worry about getting clients, they'll find you.

You won't bat 1000, nobody does. But if you write and produce...you've found the only Holy Grail that I know about. Nothing works like RESULTS.

And there are plenty of results producing copywriters to learn from.

PS. Since you already write persuasive copy, then TESTing may be the Semi-Holy Grail.
