Hi greetings to all.

I am wondering if a membership site should have the traditional sale copy that product sites have. I've seen it on some but others I've seen different.

I've seen :

Long copy
Short Copy
Extremley short copy
graphical copy
bulleted copy
headline only
no copy

I'm now confused, can anyone shed some light on what method is best for a membership site. Best=conversion

Why would membership copy be any different from anything else? I don't know but I'm a home designer not a copywriter yet.
