I really hesitate to post this but I feel what you can learn from it is to valuable not to. Go here:

Opt right back out again if you don't want to be on his list. I really don't care and I'm not trying to build this guy's list. I have no connection with him at all.
I just want you to see this amazing set of reports. They are a work of persuasive art. I wrote in the Warrior Forum:
Quote:
On one hand, it is a rabid indictment of nearly every guru out there. On the other hand, it is a subtle but I imagine very powerful presell for their up and coming apprenticeship program. Frankly, I'm not sure how I feel about it but there is no doubt the marketing techniques Scott is using are incredibly powerful.
What has he done? The whole thing is an interesting study in persuasion.
1. He gives us a common enemy by showing how they've ripped him off and bilked us out of tens of thousands. This establishes him as our advocate and friend, invoking the psychological principal of "liking".
2. He freely gives us a method to make money invoking the principal of reciprocity.
3. He establishes his expertise by citing examples, history and money-making abilities, invoking the principal of authority.
4. He throws in a little scarcity, making sure that we understand his and John's software are no longer available.
5. He has no less than 6 testimonials offering the necessary social proof.
6. And finally, the entire story is a lesson in how to evoke the consistency principal.
The freaking guy hit every single one of Cialdini's psychological persuasion factors and he did it very well. I bet the vast majority of people that read it get sucked right in and are chomping at the bit for information about his apprentice program.
Great job, Scott. If you wrote that report, you're a freaking demigod of persuasion. |
So I'm offering it as a swipe, and education in masterful persuasion for you to learn from. Nothing more.
