Hi, I need some advice here. I created an ebook and my target is to sell about 10 of them per day . The ebook cost about $27. The sales letter is written by me and it didn't convert. I've start reading some copywriting materials that being recommended here. However I knew that my copywriting skills would not improve within days, which also means I'm delaying getting the ebook sales as well. Should I hire a copywriter to write the sales letter while I study about copywriting? On the mean time, I'm interested in Michel Fortin Coaching Program as well.. However I'm not sure whether Copywriting And Copy Critiques By A Top Copywriter or Copywriting And Direct Response Marketing Consulting By The Success Doctor, Inc. fits me because I'm not copywriter or good in writing. I read lots of Michel's articles and ebook and I think he is truly remarkable. I would like to learn from him not only about copywriting but marketing as well. Should I join the thecopydoctor first ( much like a beginner entry ) before joining Michel Caoching Program?

But, that said...

Your goal seems to be immediate and about a specific salesletter. Maybe you should learn more about what made that one piece NOT convert well before you jump in. Perhaps you can post it here for everything to see and critique it?

If not, hire someone and focus on your business

Michel : Thanks for clarifying the difference between the programs. I've posted about my sales letter here (http://www.copywritersboard.com/crit...html#post48040 ) before and I'm re-writing the sales letter. Do you mean I should learn the basic elements of sales letter before joining the program?

mr_kyle : I've not thought about becoming a copywriter before but I learn that copywriting is important because almost everything involve copywriting, such as articles writing, sales letter, email marketing and etc. I want copywriting skill to become one of my assets.

It's a great skill to have, no doubt

From a business owners perspective it's also time consuming...

Consider that in the time it would take you to learn and write a decent letter you could have hired someone else who's already skilled at copywriting to write a great letter, AND have developed another product in the meantime.

You can work it both ways, there are people here who write for their own businesses (me included), just something else to think about

It seems there are pro and cons in each ways, but each complements the other way. The best solution that I can think of as for current is to learn copywriting and re-write the sales letter while searching for the copywriter.
