The best infomercial writer in the biz is. . .

Colleen Szot > Rates for Infomercial Writing, Direct Response Writing

Cool looking website too. Her designer and I must have been separated at birth 'cause we see things (almost) the same way.

Thanks for the recommendation!

Anyone else that comes to mind?

I'm looking to hire 2 writers and split test results to see the winner.

Default Are you looking for direct response video script written like Rosser Reeves' ? - 07-14-2007, 08:24 PM

Dear Pro 007,

Are you looking for someone who can write direct response video script?

A script that hooks the viewer, arouses his interest, creates desire, creates conviction that your product or service is the real deal, and then ask for action.

You know, the kind of commercial that you can measure. The kind of commercial whose sole purpose is to make the viewer take action, preferably immediate action.

If you're looking for spots written a la Rosser Reeves, with a strong unique selling proposition repeated throughout the commercial, then you might also want to add me. I'll be glad to be tested against one of the best in the industry...and that idea will force me to give your video 300% of my salesmanship skills.

Why should you consider me?

Here's the link to a video for which I wrote the script. I also shot it. College students are being ripped off!!! Video - Grouper

If you're looking for cool effects and great sounds, you'll be disappointed...but if you're looking for a strong message, a clear message...a mix of emotional copy and reason why copy, then you'll be delighted.

But what do other authorities on good copy say about this video you're about to watch? Michel Fortin thinks that this "video is excellent.... And the tough Mr. Subtle admits that "the content is good"

So like Avis used to say, "I'll Try Harder. Because I Am Only #2"

So yes, I'll try harder because the Number 1 spot is already claimed...but I guarantee you won't receive second rate work. My goal will be to beat the Number 1, and give you more sales and leads.

Are you interested in getting more sales and leads?

Now, if you'd like to see a script I wrote for a product called Resperate, you must send me a private message. It is just a script, but you can see again how it is structured for simplicity, clarity, and how it contains a strong unique selling proposition.

Good luck.

Sincerely,

Swans Paul
