Ullo Copywriters,
It's Brent from eCoverFrog here. Now I've been designing sales pages for yonks now and have experimented with quite a few graphical and design elements in the past.
I've found that keeping a muted background colour is more effective than having a bright background image with a logo and what not, however a toned down and very transperent background image can also be quite good.
I'm also a big fan of graphical headlines, but I make sure never to overdo it and I like to keep them simple. I've also found that using graphical subscibe boxes behind your signup forms can produce great results also... but again it depends on the colouration and the 'busyness' of the design as well as your target market (dur?)
Anyway, the point of this post was to see whether you guys think design is an important aspect of getting that response and if you have any tips or techniques you've used in the past that have fetched great results, especially in terms of the use of graphics and design.
All The Best,
Brent Turner |
