Yuk. Like detz says, it's got severe limitations. You can't search the page for a word because the text is in an image, and the search engines can't index the text for the same reason. A screenreader's nightmare.
It's a bit chatic too, it took me a while to find the links.

Well, I'll agree that the Traffic Secrets sales letter it ain't...
..but what do you think the younger, hardcore coffee drinker would go for--something like this or a blue background, red header, and "Who Else" headline?
BTW...if you haven't clicked on the video (just right of the word "Agent"), holy crap. A little graphic, but a lot hilarious. I can see thing getting viral in a hurry.

I agree with Jay -- it's a San Francisco coffee shop aimed at a clientele of hip, edgy, pierced and tattooed young people. It may violate any number of web design "laws," but it's perfect for their purposes.

I think the website is awesome. Only thing I probably would have done was make some of the text slightly larger and either centered the interface, or enlargened it so that it wouldn't seem so cramped up against the left side of the page. Otherwise, it's fantastic.
The whole unreadable text argument is damaging to the whole concept of the company and the site. The reason being, is that the typography they're using is part of the brand positioning statement. To put it in one of the web-safe fonts like arial or tahoma just so that it would be readable by search engines would completely kill the company's advertising strategy.

I agree that the site's style would be more receptive to the hardcore coffee drinker than something more traditional, but it is poorly executed IMO.
There is nothing saying they can't keep this grungy tone and make it a more effective site... except maybe for the sake of "creativity"... and we all know how that can botch a selling attempt.
Overall it's just too busy and hard to navigate/read. I gave it an honest try, but I couldn't tolerate the eye strain.
