I have a great opportunity to pick this up pretty cheap, anyone have any opinions on this course good or bad?

DK is the real deal.

The package is a dud.

Look for the Dan Kennedy Last Copywriting Bootcamp and all the manuals.

This package is DK lite.

Save your money and don't buy pirated stuff off Ebay.

I was a bit disappointed by the Deluxe Copywriting Seminar in a box as well. It was light on actual copywriting techniques and heavy on Dan's students talking about direct mail and direct marketing in general.

If you go the Ebay route, make sure you buy from an authorized reseller. Then you don't have to worry about pirated stuff on Ebay.

Mike, you took the words right out of my mouth. I have the same program and feel the same way about it. I don't mean that to demean DK's materials though, because they are for the most part, excellent.

David Garfinkel created an excellent copywriting course that Nitro Marketing sells. I'm in the middle of taking it now, and can vouch for it's effectiveness.

I agree with Mike and Prouddad. I also have the course. It is quite a few years old, I think it was recorded in the mid-90's. Dan talks more about strategies and techniques than writing copy.

If you want to learn the technicals of writing copy, this is NOT the course for you. Buy it anyways, you'll learn something.

FYI - some of the Dan resellers on ebay are licensed and sell the product at their cost. Groupmm and Michael Kimble fulfill the orders. They sell at cost to get your name.

The whole Kimble/Kennedy thing sort of amused me from a distance. Kimble (from my understanding) bought the rights to all of Dan's older products and then (so it seems) pretty much whored them out to everyone.

Obviously it didn't sit well with Kennedy because the arrangement didn't continue with all the new stuff.

For the best copywriting course under $100, I have to recommend Brian Keith Voiles Ad Magic course. You can get it on ebay from authorized resellers with lots of bonuses etc.

Brian Keith is the read deal.
