| Copywriter's Service Agreements -

I need some input on this very important matter.
Especially from the experts and moderators on The Copywriters Board.
This has to do with copywriter's service agreements or contracts.
Those documents that you want your client to approve before you get started on your assignment. These spell out what your client should get for whatever amount you are charging.
I shan't go into all the details, that's the easy part. I suppose anybody who ordered John Anghelache's course on Copywriter Profits would have received a specimen agreement form. I think this is a good basis for laying out your own agreement of whatever the particular assignment entails.
(yes, every agreement or contract needs to be individually prepared)
My question at this point is whether it is possible for your client to indicate approval of the agreement electronically (send it back by email) or is it absolutely necessary for your client to print the form, sign it in ink, and either mail it or fax it back to you?
The latter would pose a minor inconvenience in the least to we people accustomed to the digital age.
Any comments, opinions or suggestions would be appreciated.
