Can anyone suggest a good publishing program? I would like to have something easy, initially, yet robust enough to provide more advanced uses later. Is there such a program out there? Thanks for the tips to come!

I am using Windows and, yes, I would like to use a publishing program in the areas of newsletters, tri-fold brochures, stationary, and perhaps web-site design, if there is such a tool. I hear that Front page (?) is one of the best for web design, but what about the others needs?

Actually, FrontPage is probably the worst for web design. When it comes to web design programs, use the search button above ^^^ to read what's already been written/recommended by board users in past threads.


For document design, I use a combination of Adobe InDesign, Swift Publisher and Pages. Which one I use depends literally project-by-project. Each is a little bit easier for certain things, which I discovered just by trial-and-error. Of the 3, I like Swift Publisher the best.

Your options will be a little different though, since you're using Windows. Aside from InDesign I am not sure what is available and what comes recommended.
