Mike,
My problem isn't copywriters writing for 4K or less. I work for 4K.
My problem is the "club" pretty much calling the 4K writers the big shots.... the best guys. And they truly are not. The guys who agreed to write for 4K are guys at my level. This is not honest.
While I consider myself good... I don't consider myself anything close to "platinum." (give me 6 more months) Gold... maybe. And the "gold" writers are writing letters for a hundred bucks less than I got for my first client letter.
Silver level... these must truly be monkeys with typewriters.
I've never said this before, but I really predict failure on a massive scale with this one.

While under $4K won't hire an "A" list copywriter like Harlan Kilstein or Mike Fortin, it can hire a copywriter who is an up and comer looking to build their portfolio. Or a copywriter savvy enough to convert lousy copy into an above average performer.
And let's face it: there's plenty of lousy copy to be found on the web.
They have a pool of copywriters that have agreed to take assignments at the fee schedule which Dr. Mike's club has set.
For more info, you need to contact Eric Louviere or Dr. Mike directly and they'll give you the exact terms for copywriters.
Hope this helps,
