Default Getting permission to reprint my work. - 10-25-2006, 08:24 AM

Hi everyone,

Recently I've written for a fashion tycoon. The letter was supposed to mail to 20 richest of the rich in the fashion industry. He netted all the sales which was priced at $200,000 each.

I made one silly mistake. I forgot to tell his PR manager that I reserve the rights to the letter as my portfolio, before signing the contract. I've hard time locating the PR manager. He's not always in office.

Here's one question.

The contract didn't mentioned that my client own the copyright. Should I ask for permission first? Or I could just use it straightaway?

Need your feedback.

Thanks.

Why don't you just call him and ask him what to do?

The man behind Grey Goose vodka understood that Americans want to pay more—You just have to give them a good story. Now he has a new tale to tell. it’s about a tequila called Corazón.
