I agree that when have a lot of tasks to perform it time exhausting and sometimes difficult to get things done on time as you would like. I use to have that problem. We installed a program called Stylewriter It's a little expensive, but in the long run well worth the money.

The way its works is like this. You install it on to your computer and in drop down menu of Word under tools their will be an icon. When you type out something and save it in Word them you bring up the Stylewriter to edit it.

She works like a charm and edit every thing for you. It's the same program the Professional Editors on Madison Ave use. I find it very useful for me with those Passive verbs and Active verbs.

I use it along with WordWeb that is a free Utility.

(Neither one is an Affiliate Link)

Best,

Jimmy.

Speaking of web tools, does anyone know of a good split a/b testing software, or multivariate software?

I read a post referring to MultiTrack Generator, yet unfortunately the software/service is offline/not on sale, shame really as I was ready to buy right now!

Hi Nick,

I have two different multi-variate testing tools, either one of which should meet your needs:

Easy Multi Tracking Easy Multi Tracking: Professional Copywriter Reveals His Proven Conversion Boosting Tool That You Can Use To Skyrocket Your Conversion Rates FAST!

EZ Test and Track Try EZ Test and Track For 14 Days Free and Watch Your Conversion Rates Soar!

Easy Multi Tracking is a script you install yourself and EZ Test and Track is a monthly service with no scripts to install... just set up your testing campaigns and go.

I had both products created to meet my professional needs as a copywriter and info-product marketer.

I'm treating each one as separate products. As my customers request specific features to be added to one product, they may not be added to the other. So far, the two products are attracting two similar but different types of customers.

Two other quality multi-variate testing options are KaizenTrack and SplitTestAccelerator. Google Analytics is also fairly popular but you need to be using a Google Adwords in order to use their Analytics tool.

If you have any other questions, feel free to shoot me a PM.

Mike

I've just been playing with a great little free research tool that intergrates directly into firefox, so far looks really impressive. Go to Zotero: The Next-Generation Research Tool and take a look at the demo.

Thanks Mike, I was actually looking at one of your products earlier! I was also looking at the Accelerator, its damn expensive, although looks very impressive.

The main problem I have found in general is that there is sooo much fiddling around manually with code, or having to rename your indexed files, so potentially losing page rank etc etc.

Hi Nick,

Neither one of my products require you to rename the page. You just setup your testing campaigns, insert your testing tags, and you are ready to test.

I'd suggest taking a few minutes and watch the video on either site as I show you how to setup a testing campaign from scratch using my product.

Thanks,

Mike

Hi There,

Just wondering if anyone has used a piece of software called 'Ad Cracker' for idea generation for headlines, slogans etc... and if they found it useful?

Tks

Hi Michael,

New to the forum and just came across this article - excellent and comprehensive list of resources, many which I had never heard of before.

Tks for putting this up.

This isn't really a productivity tool but I read that one of the best ways to improve your copy is to write down successful sales letters word for word until you know them off by heart.

Well, I found another much more simple and easy way that's just as effective. Using programs like AT&T Labs Text-to-Speech I can paste in the sales letter and it'll read it out.

You can save this as an mp3 and listen to it on your phone/ipod/mp3 player etc. Do this a couple times a week and you'll start to think the great copywriters.

The only downside is the built in voices are pretty lame but NeoSpeech does some really realistic ones you can use with the AT&T program.
