Smile Is a new record being set? - 10-03-2006, 02:25 PM

It depends on how you count...

Today was the launch of the Brad and Andy show.

The fee is 797 a month. That's just under 10G for the year.

And... they are looking to make 10 million dollars today.

But they won't make 10 million dollars today... they are looking
for around 1000 people. That would bring them to around 800,000 today
and every month for a year.

That's serious change.

As Michel said, records are made to be broken.

Let's see if Mike Long can do it.

That's a "tad" out of my price range.

Perhaps they will find 1,000 folks that won't have a problem dropping a wad of cash on this one.

Good luck to all of them!

BTW - What kind of guarantee do they have? Is there a sales letter we can check out on this Harlan?

Thanks.

Never mind... Cy was kind enough to put it in another post:

StomperNet

By the way Harlan, would you happen to know who wrote this sales copy?

I personally do not like that copy. I nominate it for the worst headline ever. I wish the best of luck to them but I really do not see them reaching their goal. The only thing that makes it semi worthwile is the fact that it is a physical product.

The way they structured this whole launch over the last few weeks, they really didn't even need sales copy.

The bar has been raised again and incredible marketing lessons can be learned from this whole process.

It may seem like a lot of money - but any business that invests in SEO or any traffic generation for that matter - $800 a month is nothing. It's less than what a business would pay for a part time helper.

Of course, if you don't have a specific plan for such a service, then it is EXTREMELY expensive - if you do have a plan on how it can be used, then it would be EXTREMELY expensive not to buy it.

I think that an order link on the website would do just as good as a
sales letter considering the pre-selling that has been done for this
product and the markters (and bonuses) offered to those who sign
up.

Hence no headline and no need for great copy.

Most people who order will have already made up their minds BEFORE they
come to this page.

At least that's my take on it.

They made their goal.

They had a huge day.

The copy was done by someone not normally thought of as a copywriter.

There was huge input from John Carlton.

nah they didn't have to bother one bit about the copy...

all the legendary internet marketers (Jeff Johnson, John Reese, etc) are all promoting it like crazy.... plus they have their own bonuses to give away for those who buy wth their aff links

'When You Try Emphasizing Everything, You End Up Emphasizing NOTHING!'
