Other secrets...
- Capitalize each word in your ad
- Try the URL without "www" and with the "http://" (works sometimes)
- Try the URL in a subdirectory (in the display URL) with a keyword
or topic relevant to the search. Such as...
DayTradingUniversity.com/FreeEbook
DayTradingUniversity.com/SampleVideo
DayTradingUniversity.com/85Tips
Or...
FreeEbook.DayTradingUniversity.com
SampleVideo.DayTradingUniversity.com

Remember, adwords policy says, to be approvable, the display and destination URLs must be in the same domain. So long as that is the case, you should be OK to test any variation.
Here's an example. I just typed in "AdWords" into Google, and one ad had this:
<blockquote>
Affiliate makes $4,680.00
How does Mike bank $4680 monthly?
He markets only one tiny ad. aff
www.compare-fun-jobs.com/$4680
</blockquote>
- Here's a neat tip: same idea but works like crazy!
(I do it, and it increased my CTR by 77%.)
Use dynamic headlines by incliuding the keyword searched for.
How? Add these words in the ad...
{KeyWord:Your Default Title}
... Exactly as typed. KeyWord should appear like this since it tells Google to capitalize words and not sentence. (Capitalizing each word increases CTR.)
Simply change "your default title" to whatever you want. This is the title that shows up if the keyword doesn't precisely match, or is a variation, or is too long for the 25 character limit.
