Default DM copywriting swipes - who's list to get on? - 06-17-2006, 09:05 PM

I'm looking for vendors whose mailing lists I can get on to get some great direct-mail pitches from .. any suggestions?

one great example is rory fatt, restaurant marketing systems... his salesletters are world-class, Dan Kennedy style.. any others?

I suppose I should be on rodale/boardroom/agora's mail lists too (how?)... other suggestions?

Hi Ken,

I am not a subscriber to this service, but it may be something of interest to you. Have you looked at: http://www.insidedirectmail.com/ I remember Dan Kennedy recommending this service. Also look at the archive http://www.whosmailingwhat.com/ and finally http://www.majormailers.com/

I know it's not the same effect as receiving hard copy, but it should give you a head start and is, at least, convenient to access.

I would be interested to know if others here subscribe to it? and if so, do they find it useful?

Kind Regards,

Tom

P.S. As I said above, I haven't used it so I'm not recommending it. But I am aware that other people do.
