Armand is a great karaoke singer - so I'm not surprised he went ahead and made an album.

Hey JP - is that you singing (and instrument playing?) If so - you have a very nice voice buddy (kind of Elvis-like). Nice and deepish like mine...

I'm not a country fan - but I recognize and appreciate lovely melodies - I just listened to your first and second tune so far - and they are very nice.

BRAVO!

(BTW - I too write music, but don't have anything recorded to share here - maybe someday - it's one of my goals to buy a proper home studio and dedicate more time to "immortalizing" some of my inspirations).

1) Vocals: yes -- instruments: no

2) Backed up by some superstar session musicians who've played with lots of big names.

3) I've never heard that Elvis comment before (he he) kidding... thanks for the compliment.

4) I have a couple of pieces of software on my computer for recording. Never used for more than just capturing a melody etc. (My online recordings you heard were done in a mega studio.

BUT...

5) I would suggest you check out this: http://www.acoustica.com/mixcraft/ -- that is a killer piece of software. Amazing price. Great for demos. Download it... record something of yours and put it up for us to hear.

Anybody else GOT MUSIC?

I can't sing, or play any instrument.

But now I'm curious!

Should I add a Michael Lee Austin song to my internet country station?

http://www.live365.com/stations/alanmccall

Guess I'll check him out!

JP...

You Rock!

In my next life, please God, can I be a Rock Star? : )

I love to sing Love Me Two Times by the Doors and Patience by Guns and Roses and New Orleans is sinking by "The Hip."

Here's my naive question...

Does the software somehow automatically give you that background music?

You may be very sorry : ) but if I can get this figured out I'll post my versions.

Shaune

My exact thoughts as well.

Excellent stuff JP...

If I ever make it up to your neck of the woods, I'll bring my guitar.

I used to write country music and worked in a studio a few years back...

Armand will definitely be singing Karaoke at our wedding:

http://www.MichelAndSylvie.com/

(Can't believe how a guy can sing country on one song, and then go back up and sing AC/DC, and then rap/hiphop... blows me away!)

Here's Armand and me singing "piano karaoke" this past weekend:

And of course, there's my band:
