Default Ideas on re-wording insignificant one-liner... - 09-15-2003, 09:36 PM

Hi again.

This is really NOT that serious ... I just hate using the same
"language" as everyone else in their sales letters, and have
been trying to reword:

"If YOU’VE Been Online for More Than a Few Weeks..."

How in tarnation can I say that without saying it LIKE that?
Any ideas?

I was thinking of something like:

"Unless you're a marketing novice..."

...or something like that. But I don't want to isolate any one
particular part of my target audience. This product will be
useful to the novice to the advanced marketer -- I've made
sure of that -- but it's geared more towards the intermediate
to advanced.

Maybe that'll help some?

Thanks. :-)

If you really feel the material is more suited to intermediate to advanced users, why not be explicit?

Some novice users will be aggressive and go ahead, check it out anyway.

But your pitch will appeal to the intermediate and advanced professionals more because they are always on a lookout for solid stuff - without fluff and sundries thrown in. You may even charge more for such stuff

Hi Arun.

Thanks very much for your reply. Yep, I agree completely. I
think that's what I'll do. =)
