I was deleting e-mail today and came across this one... Subject: "EbookProfitMaker" Is Now Available For Free Being the marketing whore that I am, and seeing the word FREE, I opened the e-mail and began to to read it... Hello, Yes, it’s true; “EbookProfitMaker” is now available for free! Wow! Cool! A FREE e-book. I'm lickin' my chops and of course I read on... The reason I am emailing you personally is because you subscribed to "articletrafficmaker.com info". ...yadda yadda yadda... Purchase “ArticleTrafficMaker” now for $29.99 and receive it on Sun day morning and while you’re waiting I’ll give you “EbookProfitMaker” For Free instantly after you order. AFTER I ORDER? HUH?! What a SCAM! This is the kind of $h*t from internet marketers that really p*sses me off! You read 1/2 the letter and then run into...what else...the BIG FRICKIN' "BUT"! (Note that "Sun day" was mispelled in the short e-mail...no excuse for that is there?) It's a misleading HEADLINE...it's a misleading opening paragraph...it's a misleading SALES LETTER. When I read an e-mail like this, it makes me want to order the butt-kickin' course from Lt. "X" so that if I ever meet this punk in person, I could open up a 55 gallon drum of whopazz on him! Seriously! (hahaha) Whew...I feel better now. Thanks for reading my whine. J- |
