Default COPYWRITERS: JV to attract LOTS of new biz for YOU monthly - 09-14-2003, 05:48 PM

Hi all, it's Harmony Major of YahooSecrets.com.

I'm launching a new project in a few weeks ... a membership site,
and I need one to two OUTSTANDING copywriters for the panel.
Your job would simply be to rewrite a small amount of copy for
ONE to TWO of the members each month (randomly chosen).

This will be a "before and after" feature where you literally dissect
the member's copy, go through using strikethrough or highlighting
to identify the "BAD", ineffective parts of their ad, simultaneously
REWRITING IT into a highly-effective, response-generating ad that
the client can use indefinitely, in any of their promotions.

This wouldn't, of course, be for entire sales letters.

A copy "piece" you might rewrite could be:

* headline
* solo ad (YOU set word limit)
* ezine ad
* website classified ad
* e-mail endorsement (YOU set word limit)
* etc.

(The above would probably be the ad types you'd rewrite most.)

Preferably, you should already offer this service on your website,
so whichever members don't "win" a rewrite that month will get
impatient, and because they're so excited by the great examples
of your work in the member's area, come to hire you for a
rewrite. (That's what we're shooting for, anyway!)

With this benefit, members learn HOW to write effective ads --
by observation -- each month the guest copywriter does this.

For example, I did something similar in Yahoo! Secrets. "Experts"
would always tell us to create short, powerful, and "enticing"
descriptions for Yahoo ... but no one ever showed us how. I took
an average description of about 40-45 words -- avg. according to
what most people would start out with -- and pared it down to 10
or 12.

Right in the book, and RIGHT IN FRONT OF PEOPLE'S EYES.

And it was really helpful for customers.

When they got involved in the process, they were much
better able to write a super description of their own. (I was SO
proud of what some of my clients had done with their listings!)

Anyway, if you're a VERY skilled copywriter and are interested,
please post here or e-mail me at: Harmony@HarmonyMajor.com.

Thanks!
