Default Kevin Wilke and NitroMarketing - 11-10-2005, 11:51 PM

Does anyone know Kevin Wilke or the other guys at nitro marketing?

I don't like them, their attitude or what they do. I've been trying to get off their lists for over a year now. They don't offer a simple way to unsubscribe - they expect you to enter in the whole newsletter that you received plus provide your full name and email address blah blah blah. They keep sending me emails no matter how many times I try to get off the list.

QUITE DISGUSTING BEHAVIOUR.

Not only that, but when I wanted a refund on something they took weeks to do and tried to send me a cheque instead of just refunding my credit card.

I hate these guys. Can anyone tell me how to get off their lists permanently? Or if they're friends of yours, can you not so subtly hint to them they're breaking both federal and European laws by continuing to email people who have made it plain that they do not wish to receive any email from them.

I've unsubscribed several times too... and still get messages. Finally just filtered them -- to "junk."

They've been "quite" lately... then just 2 days ago, I got their "Pitch." It's really not new... they've done this before. But, not in a while.

Hey, it's Kevin Wilke from Nitro Marketing...

Sorry I'm just now getting back to you
about the idea you submitted to us at
http:// ww w.nitroidea accelerator .com/

But I just now found a potential way we
might could make your idea really work.

I can't make any promises to you, but what I
can say is that I do have 10 "for sure" spots
for 10 people who will definitely be able
to take their ideas (or, optionally, one
of ours instead) from idea...to big success.

Maybe one is you?

We'll see about that...

I'll be in touch tomorrow with a short video
that has more info.

Anyway -- guess they get "somebody's money" -- but not mine.

Sorry if I step on someone's toes saying all that...

Default They Must Be Doing Something Right - 11-11-2005, 04:53 PM

It seems that they are involved with some very successful marketers on project after project. So they must be doing something right, musn't they?

I've personally had no problem getting off their lists. I'm still on one of them, by choice.

By the way, I thought the free teleseminar they did with Frank Kern over a year ago was awesome. They gave away a lot of valuable information without charging anything.

Probably.... well, maybe. Don't know more than I've shared.

Spammed AGAIN!!

I have just received yet another email from those t*ats at nitromarketing. WTF do I have to do to get off their lists? Do I have to start up a negative publicity campaign against them?

I don't understand. How does it serve them to annoy people in this way - surely it does more harm than good?

I used to do the email marketing for a homeschooling company. And we maintained 4 separate lists. To completely stop receiving email, subscribers had to unsubscribe from each individual list.

Have you tried their support:

http://www.nitrosupport.com/newsletter.html

They're using Infusion Software.

I have tried their support.

I have blatantly told them to remove me from their lists or else I'll report them to Spamcop etc.

I think I've filled in their stupid f'ing forms about 5 times.

Now come on - don't they get the message yet?

It's completely bad business practice to keep someone on lists when they've asked to be removed over a half a dozen times.

And I resent the inference that it's up to me to remove myself from all of their lists when I did not subscribe myself to those lists in the first place.
