Ok ready for an obscene gesture ... just kidding.
My first, quick at a glance was...
Why No graphics on a design based site. Surely at least a screen capture above each link would do it. Also be careful with those links. Why? You have worked hard to get people to your site.
As soon as they click out they might not click back in. I would hold a page of the site you have done within your own domain that way you are keeping them on your site. | | | | | Junior Member

thanks for the note,
i was thinking about putting a screenshot or thumbnail of somekind for this. i have it for the case studies pages but not the visit links,,
for the visit links i plan to change it to open a new window when the user clicks on it, that is how i have it on the current version.
thanks again for the comments,
anyone else? | | | | | Junior Member

Hi, your grammar in your sales copy on this page was awkward in places Our goal is to balance creativity and functionality; this cuts to the heart of the idea.
This doesn't sound quite right to me, for instance. In fact, it put me off a bit. Why not: Our goal is to balance creativity and functionality, to give your web site greater appeal, and make it easier for your visitors to navigate. An Attractive looking and easy to use site creates instant credibility, and what does that get you?
"Attractive" shouldn't be capitalized here. "easy-to-use" is normally hyphenated. Your question again puts me off. I would word this differently.
Market research shows that an attractive, professional site gives your business improved credibility online.
You'll see the following results:
I think you get the idea. I would go through the grammar and wording a bit more. And yes, by all means show some nice thumbnails of your work. I would NEVER hire a web designer without seeing some samples of the type of work they could do.
I hope this is helpful,

Hi Rkosmic,
I visited your site to look at the screenshots etc. and noticed a number of typos and spelling mistakes dotted around the place.
Most webdesigners offer some kind of basic copy-proofing service to their clients, so that the clients feel confident that not only are they getting good design, but that their site will be thoroughly professional. I take this view: those that don't notice or mind typos, won't penalise you for getting everything right; those that do mind will think less of you for not having paid attention to detail.
You will inspire more confidence in potential clients if you have got all of the spelling and grammar right on your own site. However, I appreciate that english is not necessarily the forte of a designer, so I would suggest that you enlist the services of someone who can make sure that your own site is up to scratch, and your clients' sites aswell.
On a different note - I really like the way you have presented your portfolio with the case studies and testimonials. Most designers just list the sites and don't explain what tangible result they achieved for their client. So, the one where you have shown that simply changing the design increased sales by 10% is perfect for building credibility AND demonstrating that your fees are worth it. Good for you!! | | | | | Junior Member
