Default Audio Recording Program (What do you use) - 09-04-2005, 02:31 PM

I'm about to put audio on my website. I have the problem that I don't know where to look for a good audio recording program.

I could use the Windows one but that's just 60 sec recordings

Anyone know of something that is simple and works like a charm?

I use Sound Forge. It is good for recording, but it's true strength is in the editing options it allows you.

With it you can record and edit anything from a short low bandwidth sound clip for your website to CD quality music.

Best Audio tool I've found.

Excelent suggestion Michel.

Audacity has nearly every feature that Sound Forge has and... It's FREE!

I've been using Cakewalk Music Creator to edit audio. It seems pretty powerful but it took me a long time to learn how to use it.
