This is some awesome copy that will most likely cause a stir in the next few days.

What do you think about the writing style?

It kept me mesmerized till the end.

Check it out www.therichjerk.net

I'd love to know the conversions he's getting. It sure is out there.

Glen

I'd be interested if anyone actually bought this. He says it's not repackaged information of what's already out there, but it's truly rare these days to actually find something that hasn't been done before. Does he deliver?

Default Here's a thread from Warrior Forum - 08-20-2005, 08:01 PM

The "Rich Jerk" is Kelly Felix, owner of Credit Pro, Inc.

You can find a thread about him and his book here:

I haven't read the ebook, but I'll be getting it tonight.

Interesting style.

It reminds me of someone, but I'm not sure who. Maybe a bit of Gary Halbert's in-your-face stlye?

Is this a new site? I'm wondering why he doesn't have better (and more) testimonials.

I enjoyed reading it... you know, as a student of copywriting. But I didn't buy. Yet.

That's what I thought at first, too. I was about to ask Gary about that, but
nah, I doubt he'll say even if he's the one who wrote the copy.

I recognize the 3rd testimonial because I'm in his mailing list. I recently
got a mailing from another one telling about this as well.

One thing's for sure: swipe!

Hmmm... what to think!

I'm tempted -- just to see what the heck it is. But, not expecting it to be that useful.

Why?

I don't know... more of that "too good to be true" feeling.

He uses a "bully you into feeling stupid so you'll order" type of sales copy. I'm not really turned on by that. But, hey if it works -- so be it.

I'll lurk a bit and see if the couple of you who are ordering will give us some feedback before I put my money down.

Like already said, I fear it will be "More of the same!"

Feedback from "purchasers" appreciated...

Warmly,

It's being discussed in other forums. The general consensus from people who have bought seems to be that about 90% of the content is "same-old stuff" that would not be new to internet marketers who've been around for a while. At the same time, there's not enough detail to be very helpful for total newbies (it assumes knowledge of internet marketing tactics and terms).

But the 10% that's unique is very good and, according to buyers, makes the ebook well worth the price.

Still, I wonder at the lack of good testimonials... but as a rich jerk, maybe Kelly is just lazy.

Well I bought it (and gave it a positive review - except for chapter 7 (the bit about investment))

You probably know much of the stuff in there if you've been online for a while, but there are some good nuggets too, which I don't believe most people are using.

I think I like it. He certainly got my attention, and kept it until the end. Intriguing approach ... I almost enjoyed being berated by this guy! I mean, who doesn't want to be a 'lazy millionare'?

The graphics and logo also give the site a bit of interesting flair.

I did buy the book and read it. And yes, it's 90% same old stuff - but really, how many books are not? It's for the other 10% that one buys any book.

The "other 10%" of this one is so-so. Nothing very precise. The tone "you are stupid if you don't do this" continues in the book. I'm pretty sure it will work for some people.

Talks a lot about affiliate marketing - things that you learn in the first class of Affiliate Marketing 101 - register in clickbank, CJ...and stuff like that.

Gives a couple of good ideas on how to structure your Aff. Mktg business (I'm trying one right now). Goes onto buying on wholesale to sell back on ebay (oh, God...), SEO tactics (nothing new in here), and some other kinds of I-business that I didn't know existed, and doubt I will be interestd in.

40 pages - 97 bucks...decide for yourself.
