| Any suggestions for selling a preventive solution? -

Ray Edwards once answered in another forum that one ought to sell using
a fear of loss approach if the product s/he wishes to sell is preventive,
given that it’s harder to sell preventive solutions than “instant” solutions.
And since my upcoming ebook offers more of the former, I may be forced
to use this approach to make it work.
Going by that, are there any sites out there that use this approach? One
site I once referenced when I first posted here is Shawn Casey’s Internet
Law Compliance, but I need more to compare and study.
Or can you suggest how to go about “selling” my ebook in my salesletter.
I’ve already prepared some articles, got some testimonials, and wrote an
autoresponder series, so my site’s salesletter is my main concern for now.
I’ve actually begun rewriting my new draft, using the feedback offered by
Erik Mulder and others from my first post. I was wondering if there are
any more suggestions you guys can offer.
