And...I think there are parallel instances where men have a similarly strong emotional reaction--and wouldn't spend much time considering alternative "logical" explanations.
Say, for example, a singles entrepreneur networking retreat where the guys had to be 6 figure earners and no such criteria for the women. And it was a 50:50 list.
I can hear the screaming and yelling now....
I'm sure there are a few male emotional hot buttons where interpretation of a marketer's motives are based purely on feelings....
