Okay, it's only my third post and I still haven't owned up. I'm 46 and three quarters (did you used to do that?).
And although age has never bothered me a lot, I have to admit, facing 50 in a few years is bugging me.
If we can't get Mr. J. K. Subtle's real identity, I doubt we'll find out his age.
