Does anyone know of any test results regarding the impact of links on a sales page? For example, on my site, the home page is effectively a sales page. However, the page also contains a small menu on the left hand side with standard links such as “about us” and “faq”. If you would like to see my site, it’s at Ultimate Vocabulary - The Best Vocabulary Building Software I am reluctant to remove the menu because I think it adds credibility to the site. However, I have seen many successful sites (such as trafficsecrets.com) that don’t include a menu. Any thoughts? Marc. P.S.
