Hello everyone:
Last month I prepaid for a product which was supposed to be delivered in a few days. The deadline came and the vendor apologized and requested an extension. That date came and went. Only after I wrote to him did he acknowledge that the product was not ready. He set another deadline, promising to give 100% refund AND the product if he didn't meet that date. He did not.
I asked for a refund. None came. After several email exchanges, with more promises that were not kept, I saw a pending refund on my Paypal account. According to the vendor he had not processed the refund earlier because he was waiting for his Paypal account to be funded. That was on the 2nd. On 8th, in response to another email from me, he had mentioned that he had initiated transfer of funds the day before (that would be the 7th, though he was supposed to have done it on the 2nd).
Today is the 15th, and the refund is still pending in Paypal - obviously meaning that he has not funded his account.
I'm not gonna die poor if I lose 200 bucks, but I can't stand this man's dishonesty.
Any suggestions on what I can do - so that at least he doesn't try similar stunts on other people in the future?
